Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Christie says he and his team-mates will approach the match against Liverpool with the mindset of achieving a positive result.
The Cherries, back in the Premier League after a two-season absence, currently sit one place above Jurgen Klopp's side in the division standings having won their opening weekend fixture versus Aston Villa before suffering back-to-back defeats to Manchester City and Arsenal.
Liverpool are still to collect their first three points after drawing to Fulham and Crystal Palace, followed up a by a disappointing defeat at the hands of Manchester United. Such underwhelming displays will have acted as encouragement for the visitors at Anfield today, who will require no reminding the Reds are struggling to hit their usual heights.

Adopting this fearless mentality, Christie has made clear Bournemouth will be out to earn at least one point at Anfield. "Liverpool will be a tough game. We’re going to have to be diligent out of possession. We’ll go into that game thinking we can get a result, why not?" he told the Daily Echo.
"That’s why we wanted to get promoted last season, that’s why we were so excited to be in the league this season, it was to come up against these big teams and experience playing at these stadiums."
A player who spent six years as a Celtic player prior to signing for Scott Parker's side, Saturday promises to be a strange occasion for the 27-year-old. 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is of course a football anthem shared by the Scottish giants and is certain to bring back memories of playing Scotland for Christie when sung at the home of the Reds.
"A bit of déjà vu I’m sure," he said in relation to the iconic song. On operating at Anfield, Christie added: "A stadium I’ve not had the chance to play at before, so it will be an exciting experience to go there. This is the kind of stadiums and atmospheres that you want to play in. You go into it with zero kind of trepidation. It was the same against Man City (earlier this month). We kind of felt that it was a freebie for us."
