The faux pas by Banton led to an animated reaction from Mazzulla as he pulled the Toronto native for a brief moment, with, to his credit, Banton returning to the floor soon after and responding to the coaching from Mazzula. He emphasized that strong defense and commitment to the game are non-negotiable.
