But when it comes to owning some of the mistakes the team makes on the court — or behind his clipboard — the Rhode Island native can be a bit combative with the media.

Now, he is a topic of conversation for the WEEI “Gresh and Fauria” sports radio talk show because of his postgame comments after Game 2 of the Celtics’ Eastern Conference semifinals series.
