Boston’s Jayson Tatum gets 31 points, 8 boards, 6 assists vs. Pistons (3/11)

The Boston Celtics continued steamrolling their way through the second half of their 2021-22 NBA season behind another elite offensive performance from All-Star forward Jayson Tatum as the Celtics defeated the Detroit Pistons 114 – 103 at TD Garden Friday night to improve to 41 – 27 on the season and just behind the Chicago Bulls in the East’s fourth-place slot.

Tatum put up a game-high 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists on 13-of-27 shooting overall despite going just 2-of-9 from beyond the arc while also nailing all 3 of his free throws. He also only turned the ball over once and fouled 3 times in his team-high 38 minutes of floor time.

If you did not get a chance to see the St. Louis native in action against the Pistons on Friday evening, or just want to see Tatum in action again for another reason, check out the clip embedded below to see all his best plays against Detroit.
