Analyst Frank Urbina of our sister site HoopsHype has finished the second of five installments of his annual assessment of the NBA’s best players by position for the coming season, and Boston Celtics star shooting guard Jaylen Brown has landed near the very top of the list of stars at his position.
After a season that saw the Georgia native make it all the way to within two wins of an NBA title with Brown at times the best Celtics player on the floor, it was inevitable that the Cal-Berkeley product would move up in the eyes of NBA writers like Urbina for the 2022-23 season.
In the HoopsHype analyst’s assessment, Brown is nearly without question one of the best players at his position in the world.
