The Boston Celtics played the Detroit Pistons for the final time this season, despite being without a number of players available. Not that this should surprise anyone, given the two Eastern Conference ball club’s records to this point in the 2023-24 NBA season.
The game was actually tied as late as in the game’s second period, when the contest was at an even 43 points for both teams. But the Celtics pulled away to get their 56th victory of their current campaign, further cementing their hold on the league’s best record.
