Quite a lot has happened to the NBA since the last time a non-exhibition tilt was played in the 2023 postseason, and Hall of Fame Boston Celtics champions Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have a lot to say about all that has gone on since the Denver Nuggets hung their first banner.
The Celtics, for one, upgraded their roster in a major way with Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, and the Milwaukee Bucks did the same with Damian Lillard as the top of the East has gotten better, and the San Antonio Spurs drafted some guy named Victor Wembanyama you may have heard of. The Philadelphia 76ers may also find themselves outclassed in the East due to the ongoing James Harden saga, and there’s plenty more we did not even touch on.
The “Ticket and the Truth” did in the Showtime Basketball podcast they host sporting their nicknames as a title, however.
