The Boston Celtics have dominated the Eastern Conference standings and this season's Power Rankings, holding the No. 1 spot since November. As the regular season comes to a close, the Celtics are showcasing remarkable consistency, boasting an impressive record of 62-17. They are excelling on both ends of the court, ranking first offensively and second defensively, with a remarkable plus-12 net rating. The Celtics are on track for a deep playoff run, with anything short of an NBA Finals appearance considered a significant disappointment.
In the Western Conference, the race for the top seed is heating up, with the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves vying for the coveted position. The Nuggets, with a record of 55-24, are led by Nikola Jokic, a front-runner for the MVP title. Health will be crucial for the Nuggets as they head into the playoffs, with key players like Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon facing injury concerns.
