The Boston Celtics and Bentley University have entered into a multiyear partnership per a release from the Boston-area business school. This collaboration is poised to provide Bentley students with unique opportunities to engage with the Celtics’ executives and the inner workings of the sports business world.
Students at Bentley will have the chance to work on real-life business challenges and present their solutions to Celtics executives and CLTX, the team’s official NBA 2K affiliate. They will also gain experience working with the burgeoning esports industry, a market valued at $1.42 billion in 2022, projected to grow to $4.47 billion by 2030. This will enable students to analyze industry trends and apply their business acumen to explore ways CLTX can expand its reach and audience.
Bentley and the Celtics share a dedication to broadening access to historically underrepresented communities. To such an end, the partnership includes the sponsorship of an annual career day at Celtics headquarters.
