Former Boston Celtics big man Vitor Faverani has reportedly signed a new deal in his native Brazil to play for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A league, according to Alberto De Road of our sister site HoopsHype.

The center played for Boston in the 2013-14 season after signing a three-year deal with the team following a strong showing with EuroLeague’s Valencia Basket. That three-year contract amounted to 37 total games with the Celtics, however, after he suffered a torn lateral meniscus during his first season that forced him to miss all of his anticipated second season.
