Boss's unusual interview style involves hurtling down a race track at 100mph

Job interviews can be stressful at the best of times but four job hunters took it to the extreme in the most nerve-wracking interview of their lives.

These hopefuls were quizzed on their CVs while hurtling down a test track hitting speeds of 110mph in a BMW car.

Footage shows the candidates strapped into the back of a black BMW M5 Competition next to their interviewer. They were kitted out in crash gear helmets while still in their interview suits.

Throughout the drive the unlucky candidates shrieked as they were literally put though their paces.

Interviewing for a sales role at car dealer Big Motoring World, the quartet endured eye-watering speeds of 110mph - even drifting corners at 70mph.

The video shows the interviewees and the recruiter being flung around the famous Cadwell Park racetrack in Louth, Lincolnshire while trying to impress their prospective boss. They swear and shout in terror as they answer why they'd be the best person for the job.

Some appeared to relish the high-adrenaline experience, even cheering their driver on, while one queasy job hunter confessed: "I feel like I'm going to throw up".

Driver and YouTuber Sid North was trying to beat his best lap time on the racetrack known as the mini-Nürburgring in the motor, equipped with a 4.4-litre twin turbo-charged V8.

Sid managed to shave off an impressive six seconds off his previous time, clocking in at 1:48.26 beating his previous time of 1:54.13.

The fearsome foursome, who all lasted at least two laps, performed so impressively at the unconventional interview in December that company director Graeme Mitchell hired all four of them on the spot.

Monika Pikciunaite, Jayden Baldwin, Gabrielle Martin and Rishi Sharma were welcomed to the team and hired as sales executives.

Ben Goodwin, Sales Director at Big Motoring World said: "One of the most important attributes of an ideal candidate is their ability to perform under pressure.

"We wanted to give our candidates a challenge that blended both pressure and fun and are delighted with how it turned out.

"Everyone had a chance to prove themselves in a challenging environment, something we hope will help in their new roles. We're pleased to say they all passed with flying colours.

"I also want to say a big thank you to Sid North for being a good sport and taking time out of his busy schedule to come and help out."
