Bose extends the life of its SoundTouch speakers following backlash – here's which features will still work

Update 09/01/26: This story has been edited to remove the claim that Bose offered customers no compensation at the time of the original announcement. In fact, Bose did offer SoundTouch customers a 25 per cent discount code, and affected customers can use Bose's standard trade-in program. Bose failed to communicate these points to us when we contacted it for comment on the original story.
