Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Sebastian Kehl has said that the club would like Youssoufa Moukoko to make a decision on his future "promptly" amid Newcastle United links.
ChronicleLive have reported that Newcastle are looking into signing the talented 18-year-old on a free transfer in the summer. Dortmund are understood to be eager to try and convince their forward to sign a new contract before its expiry at the end of the current season, with Eddie Howe's side hopeful of finding a way to tempt him to Tyneside.
Moukoko has scored six goals and provided six assists in his 22 appearances across all competitions this season. The youngster has fast become one of the most sought after talents in Europe, with Newcastle reportedly battling Chelsea for the teenager's signature.

The London club look set to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, somewhat taking the pressure off Newcastle to try and wrap up a deal for Moukoko, but Howe's side will by no means take anything for granted in their pursuit of the German international. There are few players, if any, as talented as the Dortmund ace that have their contracts coming to an end this summer.
The longer that Newcastle take to tie up a deal, the more time it offers rival suitors to swoop in and sign the versatile attacker. Yet recent comments from the Bundesliga club's sporting director show the urgency behind getting a deal sorted for Moukoko, something that the Premier League side will be pleased to hear.
Speaking to German newspaper Westphalia Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, Kehl said: "We [Dortmund] would obviously like to receive a decision quite promptly. It is important for all parties to have clarity."
Following the arrival of Alexander Isak last summer, Newcastle will be keen to bolster their attack once again with the arrival of Moukoko on a free transfer.
