Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt is set to leave the club this summer for a switch to the Premier League, according to reports. The Germany international was previously linked with a move to Arsenal.
However, since then, Mikel Arteta has been blessed with plenty of talent in the forward departments. Academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe has shown his ability as a No. 10, while also playing well on the left.
Summer signing Martin Odegaard, who had enjoyed a successful loan spell from Real Madrid the season before, has also impressed since coming into the side. With the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe also in the squad, it leaves the Spaniard well stocked in attacking options.

Arteta’s priority appears to be more around strikers this summer, as he said in a recent press conference.“Now is the moment we have to raise the quality. We need one who puts the ball in the net, that’s priority number one. Any successful team needs enough goal threat in the squad," he said.
However, with European qualification on the horizon, another thing to consider is adding depth to the squad. This could allow them to revive interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt, as SportBILD reports that he is looking to move away this summer, with a move to the Premier League the preferred option.
The 26-year-old was linked with a move to the Emirates, but it never materialised and he instead stayed in the Bundesliga. However, he now looks set to leave Germany, with Dortmund reportedly asking for €20million (£17million).
Whether the Gunners look to sign him, given their wealth of attacking options, remains to be seen. However, they could see him at the Emirates one way or another, if he signs for a league rival if they decide not to follow up their previous interest in the player.
