Borough honours Frank Field with Freedom of Wirral

Frank Field Wirral Birkenhead

Frank Field has been honoured with the Freedom of Wirral.

Lord Field, now a crossbench peer, was awarded the honour at an extraordinary meeting of Wirral Council tonight.

He has been a huge figure in national politics, having served as Birkenhead’s MP for 40 years.
