Rangers full back Borna Barisic is reportedly on Nottingham Forest's wish list this summer with Steve Cooper keen to continue the club's spending spree.
The Croatian international impressed on Rangers route to the Europa League final last season as he recaptured his best form under Gio van Bronckhorst, and has been a key part of the early season plans despite the addition of Ridvan Yilmaz from Besiktas. The 29-year-old has reportedly put Trabzonspor on red alert this summer already, and now the English Premier League newcomers are reportedly weighing up a move.
Having earned promotion last term with the English Championship playoff success, Forest have been among the biggest spenders south of the border this summer with the imminent signing of Neal Maupay from Brighton set to take their total outlay close to the £100million mark. The Mail on Sunday state that a full back is now top of the agenda at the City Ground.
They state that Chelsea's Emerson Palmieri and Rangers' Barisic are their latest targets. A move to the English Premier League had previously been on the cards for the Croat last summer.
Watford had a bid knocked back for the full-back, before the Hornets were relegated last term. Roma have also previously been mentioned in the frame for Barisic.
