Boris Johnson didn’t seem to be troubled by the cost of living crisis today, as he jetted off on his second holiday in as many weeks.
The jet-setting PM only returned from a week at a Slovenian spa last Sunday.
And now locals have spotted him and wife Carrie in a supermarket in Greece.
The couple were seen shopping for groceries, filling up two baskets with groceries, including bottles of wine from the fridge.
According to Greek website In, Mr and Mrs Johnson were in Nea Makri, a sun-soaked coastal town near Athens.
He’s seen paying for his shopping using the self-checkout terminals, before loading it into a waiting SUV, flanked by security guards.
The PM’s father, Stanley, owns a villa in Horto, another Agean resort four hours’ drive to the north.
Mr Johnson had already been accused of leading a zombie government for jetting off to Slovenia while Brits fret over skyrocketing bills.
A Labour spokesperson said: “On the evidence of the last few months it seems to make little difference if the Prime Minister is in the office or on holiday.
“It’s all just one big party for Boris Johnson while the country struggles with the Tory cost of living crisis.”
Last week's getaway saw the PM and Mrs Johnson visit a “soothing energies” mountain villa where guests dine on bear while officials predicted the worst recession since the 1990s.
The lame duck Prime Minister stayed at Vila Planinka in Slovenia, which urges guests to ditch their phones and laptops in rooms costing £242 to £542 a night.
Speaking outside his hotel, he declared he'd had an “absolutely wonderful time” on his “honeymoon in peace and quiet”.
