Boris Johnson has put his London townhouse on the property market for £1.6million as he looks to make around £400,000 from the sale.
The outgoing Prime Minister and his wife Carrie bought the four-bed terrace back in July 2019 when Johnson got the keys to Downing Street.
Just over three years later and the house is now back on the market after the pair purchased it for £1.2million.
According to the Sunday Mirror the Johnsons have been looking to rent the three-storey property out for £4,000-a-month but never got round to it after moving into No10.
The house boasts a 100ft rear garden and 2,100sq ft of living space.
Estate agents Davis and Gibbs say: “The property is finished to an excellent standard throughout. It retains many characteristics, including shutters, wooden floors and low-level cast-iron radiators."
The home is close to Camberwell's Myatts Field Park which is described by Davis and Gibss as “a hidden London gem enjoyed by families looking for a quiet life”.
It is not currently known where Boris and Carrie will move to when they leave Downing Street next month, however they do own a house in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Downing Street did not comment.
