Rules were due to end on March 24 but now the Prime Minister says he wants to bring the end date forward,
Opening Prime Minister's Questions, Mr Johnson said: "It is my intention to return on the first day after the half-term recess to present our strategy for living with Covid.
"Provided the current encouraging trends in the data continue, it is my expectation that we will be able to end the last domestic restrictions - including the legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive - a full month early."

Under current coronavirus restrictions, people in England who develop Covid symptoms or test positive must self-isolate for 10 days or five days following two negative lateral flow tests.
Face coverings are also still required in health and care settings such as hospitals, GP surgeries and pharmacies while some local authorities have encouraged face coverings in the communal areas of schools.

It comes after recent data shows a week-on-week decline in positive Covid results in the UK, according to the Office for National statistics.
Despite this, deaths within 28 days of testing positive have somewhat increased according to data leading up to February 8.
In the previous seven days before and including February 8, 1,802 people died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19.
Recent data also suggests that hospital admissions have gone down by over 10 per cent in the previous seven days approaching February 3.
Currently, over 138 million vaccines have been administered across the UK.
