Vladimir Putin’s forces waging an illegal war with Ukraine are being fed bizarre propaganda that Boris Johnson resigned as a result of a secret Russian spy sting.
They have also been told that a “public execution” will be held “in the near future” of British “mercenaries” detained in the war. Two British soldiers are on death row in the east of Ukraine.
While a “political and intelligence expert” has allegedly said to Kremlin forces that President Joe Biden has a hidden illness and will likely die in the next year.
Russia has restarted a Soviet-style programme of “political education” for its armed forces - a move seen as indoctrination.
A report by Cheka-OGPU Telegram channel said the naval crew of Black Sea fleet stand-in flagship Admiral Makarov were lectured by Dr Alexander Kholin, who is an “intelligence and political expert”.
With the war raging, he was flown to the warship for the session by a Defence Ministry helicopter.
He told assembled naval officers that the real reason British premier Johnson was quitting was due to a clandestine espionage sting by Russian spies, said Cheka-OGPU.
His resignation “is the result of a Russian intelligence operation”, Dr Kholin told members of the crew who number around 200.
No further details were given of the alleged spy sting.
Dr Kholin also made claims about the US president for the crew of the frigate Admiral Makarov, which replaces the sunken Moskva cruiser.
Biden was “very ill and with a high degree of probability may die in the coming year”, said the report.
It adds Russia is “no longer afraid” of Britain so would order the “public execution” of UK mercenaries now in detention in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a Kremlin puppet state.
No further details were given about Dr Kholin’s on board lecture pictured by Cheka-OGPU, which has more than 433,000 followers, and describes itself as a ‘source that shares secrets of bureaucrats, oligarchs, gangsters and the siloviki (law enforcement)’.
The “education” session was entitled: “Information Wars and Extremism in the Cultural Environment”.
The arch-loyalist is ex-head of the Situation Centre of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
He is also an expert with the Analytical Centre under the Government of the Russian Federation.
The warship is based in Sevastopol in occupied Crimea.
“The lecture was a success, although most of the similar events are systematically interrupted by rocket attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” said one report.
