Boris Johnson arrived at the Queen's Jubilee thanksgiving service to an angry reception from some waiting royal fans.
Pulling up outside St Paul's Cathedral with his wife Carrie on the second day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the under-fire PM was greeted with a mixed reception. While some in the crowd whistled and cheered, others booed and shouted.
Live coverage on the BBC showed the couple walking up the steps to the Cathedral to a tumult of noise from the crowd.

A BBC commentator said: "And you can hear it, there is really quite a lot of booing actually, a substantial amount. Didn't see that coming - it's quite a moment."
The Prime Minister has been under increasing pressure over recent weeks, in the aftermath of the publication of the Sue Gray report into the 'Partygate' scandal. 28 Tory MPs have now publically called on their leader to resign, while recent polling suggests the Conservative party is losing support in the key constituencies it won in 2019, including in the North East.
Royal family members and UK politicians were joined at the service on Friday by people chosen in recognition of their contribution to public life, including key workers, charity volunteers and members of the armed forces. However, the Queen herself was unable to attend due to ongoing mobility issues.
After entering the Cathedral, Mr Johnson joined those marking the monarch's 70 years on the throne, giving a bible reading as part of the service. Ahead of the service, the Prime Minister tweeted: "Congratulations to Her Majesty The Queen on your remarkable Platinum Jubilee.
“The whole country, Commonwealth and world thank you for your unwavering duty and service. Vivat Regina Elizabetha! God Save The Queen!”
