A passionate kiss between Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle divided Emmerdale fans in the latest episode of the popular ITV soap.
Monday night's episode saw Mandy invite the vet back to her house for a spot of lunch after he had a tough day upon learning baby Reuben was fighting for his life in hospital. The news about Chloe's baby brought back some devastating memories for Paddy, whose daughter Grace died when she was just hours old.
After hearing Paddy was struggling, Mandy - who is still harbouring strong feelings for her former flame - invited him over for lunch. This later turned into the pair reminiscing about their relationship.

After having a joke about Mandy's love of leopard print bed sheets, Paddy became more serious. He asked Mandy what she thought would have happened, had he forgiven her for her affair when they were married.
Paddy then planted a kiss on Mandy's lips, before the pair became involved in a passionate embrace. Mandy then pulled away, concerned that this would only complicate matters worse and add something else to Paddy to worry about.
Paddy then quickly agreed, said the kiss should never have happened and rushed out of the house. The episode seemed to divide viewers, with fans stating they wish the pair would make up their minds about one another.
Some fans were thrilled to see the pair become so close again. Twitter user @1madwoman196 said: "Awww #Maddy so close and yet so far @emmerdale @Reallisariley @dominicbrunt they make each other Happy @11syoung."
Another added: "They definitely should put Paddy and Mandy back together."
But others believe the past is in the past. Twitter user @Katie_Murphy776 said: "Tonight's #Emmerdale is a strong contender for the worst, most boring one yet." Another fan said: "Why are they getting Paddy and Mandy back together? The writers are so boring #Emmerdale."
User @EnfieldGarry said: "Mandy and Paddy kissing, oh my god. #Emmerdale."
