Boots wants to hire more than 10,000 workers across the UK to handle the Christmas rush.
The health and beauty store will recruit staff in its stores, warehouses and back offices.
Boots wants more than 6,500 customer assistant roles and up to 3,000 staff at its Beeston and Burton-on-Trent distribution centres.
The firm will also hire 2,000 customer operations assistants - who will package home deliveries and help out in stores.
Boots is hiring part-time and full-time workers.
These roles are temporary, but Boots said permanent roles could follow for some workers.
Boots head of recruitment Donna Hodgins said: “Team members who join our business over the festive period are always truly valued members of store and distribution centre teams, providing crucial support for our stores and customers alike.

Boots said you won't need qualifications for its roles, but you will need to "demonstrate real energy and passion for customer care".

Tesco is hiring 15,000 temporary workers this Christmas to help customers during the busy festive season.
There are roles on offer in both Tesco superstores and smaller Extra convenience stores, with morning, day and evening shifts available.
Boots isn't the only retailer offering extra jobs this Christmas.
Tesco said there may be opportunities for Christmas workers to apply for any permanent roles that are available.
The seasonal jobs are now listed on the Tesco careers website.
Aldi is to hire around 3,000 new workers - including over 2,000 temporary and permanent store positions.
In addition, Aldi is currently recruiting for more than 850 roles across its 11 distribution centres around the UK.
Permanent roles include warehouse selectors, logistics assistants and lorry drivers.

Waitrose and John Lewis are recruiting for more than 10,000 seasonal positions.
The John Lewis Partnership, which owns John Lewis and Waitrose, will recruit 4,000 seasonal roles across 331 Waitrose shops.
This will include supermarket assistants, night shift workers and customer delivery drivers.
There will also be 2,000 temporary roles for 34 John Lewis stores, including sales and merchandising positions.
