High-street retailer Boots has delighted shoppers by slashing the online cost of a hugely popular designer fragrance by almost half-price .
As much as we all love designer fragrances, they can occasionally be a bit out of our budgets. Which is why we were excited to find out that Boots is running an offer that has saw it slash the cost of select designer fragrances by up to half-price.
One of the perfumes included is the Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau de Parfum (50ml), which has been dropped from its usual £60 to just £36 - meaning shoppers are saving £24 with the exclusive deal.
The cosmetics chain's fragrance offer is only available online and it has a range of fragrances from designer brands, such as Hugo Boss, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Calvin Klein and many more.
Emporio Armani Diamonds, which was launched in 2007, has been a long-standing favourite perfume due to its feminine scent and iconic glimmering glass bottle.
A description for the perfume reads: "A fragrance that reflects the sparkle, strength, brilliance and sexiness of the EMPORIO ARMANI woman. The sensory blend is a surprising gourmand fragrance to give a stone a flavor and to a woman a self confident and audacious feeling."
With a 90 percent recommendation rate and over 200 five-star reviews on the Boots website, it looks like the fragrance is still a bestseller, meaning it might be worth snapping up at its lower price.
One five-star review read: "So many new perfumes have been released since this came out years ago - however this still out performs a lot of them, not only smell wise but performance wise also! It’s a great classic scent smells very sexy but not too strong. It’s a great everyday perfume and very affordable too and always gets lots of compliments!"
A second said of the perfume: "I was brought this perfume for Christmas and I am obsessed with it! It’s a long lasting scent and I get so many compliments on it, I think it smells gorgeous and I will definitely buying myself another bottle!"
While a third impressed shopper wrote: "I know this perfume came out ages ago but in my eyes still the best thing going, it lasts so long, it smells gorgeous. Like it’s one of those fragrances that you just can’t help but love."
And a fourth added: "What a bargain! Beautiful smelling perfume at a great price one of my favourites highly recommend."
