Shoppers have taken to the internet to share Christmas bargains as calendars are being reduced to as little as 25p.
With the deadline to pick up a calendar far-passed, retailers are slashing their prices in an attempt to get rid of stock. One such retailer doing so was Superdrug which reduced a Dove calendar - which had health and beauty products rather than chocolate - from £30 to just 25p.
A shopper saw this deal and had to share it, urging others to check their local branches for similar offers on calendars.
She said on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group: "Worth checking out your local Superdrug stores. They are selling last Xmas' advent calendars for 25p. Yes 25p.
"They were £30 full price but ideal for secret Santa gifts and if you travel. Bought 10 for £2.50!"
The woman plans to reuse the goodies in the Dove Calendar. She added the goodies will be "broken down and into Santa gift bags for my staff at work."
Unfortunately for shoppers, they will have to brave the cold to see if there are any deals in store, as the huge discounts are not available online.
This comes as shoppers have been taken aback by a pair of thermal leggings which were being sold for £6 at B&M as they were considered to be a brilliant deal.
Those who claimed that they had gotten their hands on the leggings said that they are "worth their money and are very warm."
