Boots has launched a new premium beauty box giving shoppers the chance to snap up some luxury skincare for a fraction of the price.
The high street retailer has introduced the exclusive Elizabeth Arden Premium Beauty Box, following on from its bestselling Elemis, REN and Springcare Edit bundles that proved hugely popular with customers. The new box has a price tag of £48, but contains Elizabeth Arden products worth a total of £116.67.
Boots ramped up excitement for the launch by teasing the new box on social media earlier this week, so the set is expected to sell fast. While the beauty box is only available to buy online, shoppers can opt for free home delivery or click and collect it from their local Boots store - and as a special offer, any over-60s club members with an Advantage Card will also receive eight points per £1 spent on the box.

Here's a full list of what the Elizabeth Arden gift set includes:
- Eight Hour® Cream Skin Protectant - 30ml
- Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line Erasing Night Serum – 7pcs
- Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum – 7pcs
- Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream SPF15 - 5ml
- Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Cream – 50ml - Full size
The full-size version of the Skin Protectant has a rating of 4.3 out of five stars from Boots shoppers based on over 100 reviews, with 80% saying they would recommend it to others. "This is my ride or die product that I can't live without and I've been using it for years!" one shopper said.
The Retinol Ceramide Capsules are rated an impressive 4.6 out of five from more than 2,000 customers, with over 92% recommending them. "I noticed a difference on my face after only using it a few nights. The lines around my mouth seemed less pronounced and the corners of my mouth were not downturned anymore. Amazing!! I'm 73," one fan wrote in a five-star review.
Meanwhile, the Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules have an even better rating of 4.7 with reviews from over 4,300 shoppers. One customer impressed with the results said: "Love those capsules, each have just right amount of serum needed for the whole face, skin felt really smooth and pampered after using it."
When it comes to the Ceramide Day Cream, shoppers were similarly pleased with the product earning an overall rating of 4.6 out of five stars from over 750 reviews. Someone who loved it wrote: "Fantastic moisturiser, my skin feels lovely and soft. A bit pricey but well worth it."
And finally, the Ceramide Night Cream - which shoppers who snap up the Elizabeth Arden beauty box get a full-size version of worth £70 if bought separately - also has a rating of 4.6 on the Boots website, based on more than 2,000 reviews. "Just with one application I could see the changes on my skin. It looked like I had some kind of small surgery that made my skin and face look way more better than before!" one person said.
However, as with any skincare product, some shoppers found that Elizabeth Arden wasn't quite right for them. A small number of shoppers said they disliked the smell of the Skin Protectant, while a few who tried out the Ceramide Capsules reported that they left their skin dry and irritated, and some who weren't fans of the Ceramide Creams found them to be too thick and heavy.
If you haven't tried Elizabeth Arden before, the beauty box may be the ideal opportunity to test out some of the most popular skincare products on your skin before committing to splashing out on the full-size versions. Alternatively, if you know someone who can't get enough of the brand, the box would make a perfect gift.
Elizbeth Arden is also running some special offers on its own website, including the chance to get a free gift when you spend over £55. The gift includes Skin Protectant, All-Over Miracle Oil and a Lip Protectant Stick, worth £40 in total.
