Boots has introduced a dramatic change to the value of Advantage Point customers receive when they purchase both in-store and online.
From today, Advantage Card shoppers will get 25 per cent less than previously for every £1 spent. This means they will earn 3p, instead of 4p.
The pharmacy and beauty product chain previously warned customers of the change in March, stating it was in "response to the changing way that customers are using the loyalty scheme". It added that customers wanted "on-the-spot lower prices and instant value", the Mirror reports.
