Boots drops two major beauty brands leaving shoppers 'gutted'

Boots has dropped two big beauty brands from its shelves and fans are not pleased. The announcement has left fans of Smashbox and Glamglow "absolutely gutted" that they will be unable to get their products from September.

The brands are owned by The Estée Lauder Companies, which has confirmed both will be stop appearing on UK shelves from September. After thanking fans of the two brands, the company says the products have been dropped due to an 'accumulation of challenges' in the announcement on social media.

The MEN report that Smashbox wrote: “To our Smashbox fam: An accumulation of challenges has sadly been more than our business can withstand and we’ve had to make the heart-breaking decision to no longer accept orders in the UK and Ireland beginning September 29, 2022.
