Although some may have been distracted by Love Island’s Jess Harding’s racy red bikini in last night’s episode of the ITV dating show, when it came to her glammed up evening look, it was all about the eyes.
Now, health and beauty retailer Boots has confirmed exactly which affordable beauty product she was using to make her peepers really pop.
While getting ready to toast the island’s latest couples, 22-year-old Jess was spotted applying a liquid eyeliner in the mirror of the dressing room to complete her eye look.

The aesthetics practitioner opted for the £5.99 Rimmel London Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner, which some shoppers say is better than high-end brands. It was famously used by the late singer Amy Winehouse for her iconic winged look.

Tip 2: For flawless liner along the upper lash line, look down into a mirror and gently lift your lid before stroking pigment as close to the lashes as possible.
Tip 3: If you're a beginner, have a go at applying your liner in short strokes instead of one long sweep. You could even dot the shape on first and use it as an outline for your final look.
