New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has passed on head coaching job openings in the past — most infamously leaving the Indianapolis Colts in the hours before his introductory press conference — but perhaps he’ll meet his match this offseason.
The Las Vegas Raiders are showing interest in McDaniels — and they may even be looking for a package deal with the Patriots’ OC and New England’s director of player personnel Dave Zeigler, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It’s easy to see why that team would appeal to McDaniels.
