Jesse Marsch is currently the joint fourth favourite to be the next manager sacked in the Premier League. The Leeds United boss is currently priced at 20/1 alongside Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, with only Steven Gerrard, Ralph Hasenhuttl and Brendan Rodgers shorter odds, according to BetVictor.
After a promising start to the season, Leeds have picked up just two points from their last five matches – all of which were against sides likely to be in and around them come the end of the season. An extension of this run of form ahead of the World Cup could leave Leeds with a decision to make.
Gerrard, though, is the favourite at present to be the next manager given the boot following Aston Villa’s disappointing start to the season. Villa sit 16th on nine points from as many matches and are currently the joint second lowest scorers in the division, despite boasting an array of attacking talent.

Sections of the Villa support were chanting for him to be sacked during the 1-1 with Nottingham Forest on Monday. Next on the list is Southampton boss Hasenhuttl, whose job also appears very much at risk at the moment.
Reports from the Telegraph last week claimed that the Saints are considering a change in the dugout and the Austrian has just a few matches to save his job as they sit just outside the bottom three. Rodgers is also in a similar position at Leicester.
The former Liverpool boss had appeared to buy himself some time after the 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest 10 days ago, but a crushing defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday means the pressure is very much back on. Leeds head to the King Power Stadium next Thursday, and defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend could mean Rodgers is out of a job by the time the Whites visit.
