Booked but no ticket, money debited? Delhi HC seeks Railways, IRCTC response on plea seeking audit of online reservation system

IRCTC Railways PIL The Delhi High Court the Ministry of Railways

The Delhi High Court has sought the response of the Ministry of Railways and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking an independent audit of the online railway ticket reservation system.

A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia on Wednesday asked the government and Railways counsel to obtain instructions on the petition within a week.
