Book that reshaped Highland crofting history marked at 50-year gathering

Dr Charlie Lynch attends a two-day conference held to mark 50 years since the publication of a book which ruffled the feathers of Scotland’s historical establishment with its radicalism and insistence on a ‘history from below’.
