Bonus energy payment to soften bills blow before Christmas

Households are going to be getting another energy rebate worth hundreds of euro in time for Christmas.

The bonus payment, which was worth €200 in April, will soften the blow as energy prices continue to soar.

Energia was the latest energy company to announce price hikes of up to 39% yesterday, joining most of their competitor companies with huge price bumps.
