Bono's daughter Eve Hewson discovers Brad Pitt among her biggest fans

Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson has discovered Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt is among her biggest fans.

The daughter of the U2 rocker shares the same manager as Pitt, 58, who is filming a new movie on Formula One. Eve, 31, revealed she has become obsessed with Formula One after watching Netflix’s Drive To Survive.

She said: “During the pandemic I didn’t really do anything like everyone else, but I watched this show. It follows all the Formula One drivers, I never cared about sports before by the way and now I’m completely hooked. They’re all gorgeous.

“And actually, Brad Pitt is making a Formula One movie and I have the same manager as Brad Pitt. Flex.” When she found out Pitt was making the race car movie, she asked to speak to him and was surprised when he told the actress he was a huge fan.

Eve added: “So, I was at dinner with my manager, and I was obviously talking about it and she was like, ‘Oh, he’s making a movie about it’. And I was like, ‘Get Brad Pitt on the phone right now’. And she called him, and I said I will do anything in this movie, I will have one line, I will be in the pit crew, I will do whatever you want but I’ve got to be in this film.

“And he said, ‘I’m such a fan. I’ve watched Behind Her Eyes twice. You’re in it kid.” The star said while she has “no clue” what part she will be playing, she feels like the pair had a “verbal agreement over the phone”.

She also revealed how she moved back in with her parents in Dublin during the pandemic. Eve added: “I was living in London. Then I moved back with my parents up until a week ago and now I live here... for a month and then I go wherever.

“I don’t really have a home and right now I don’t have a job either.” Eve was speaking to Jimmy Fallon on Fallon Tonight promoting Sharon Horgan’s Bad Sisters. The show is now streaming on Apple TV+.
