Bonnie Ryan and her new husband John have touched down in South Africa to kick off her six-week honeymoon.
The pair tied the knot in Italy earlier this summer and they recently landed in Cape Town to create memories as a married couple. The 29-year-old's trip will be the longest she has ever been away from home.
She told Georgie Crawford on The Good Glow podcast: “I have never travelled. The longest I have been away for is three weeks on family holidays. I never did interrailing or went on a J1, I always worked for the summers at home here.

"We were just like 'Why not? Now is the time...let's just go away the two of us. Do a big trip and see places we have never seen before.' I am so excited, I am really excited. I have never done anything like this in my life.”
Bonnie shared a snap from a restaurant overlooking the famous Table Mountain. Another photo captured the food they were enjoying near Camps Bay in the city where they were treated to steak and fish.
Bonnie posted: “Dinner in @thebungalowclifton 10/10 amazing view of sunset. Staff and food are incredible. I recommend the sea bass. Hotel arranged a taxi driver but we have also been recommended to download Uber and bolt to get around.”
The daughter of RTE legend Gerry Ryan also told her 115,000 followers that she'll keep them posted on all their honeymoon adventures. She said: “First full day going exploring so keep you posted on any more tips”.
