Bonfire Night 2022 firework displays in and around Cardiff

Let us set the scene. You're all wrapped up while sipping on a cup of hot cider, mulled wine or hot chocolate and watching as rainbow-coloured sparks shoot into the sky, bursting into a shower of reds, greens oranges and pinks and lighting up the dark night. That's right - we're talking about the awesome annual event that is Bonfire Night.

And while we're yet to reach Halloween - read more on the spooky events on offer - it's never too early to look ahead at the displays and events happening up and down the country to celebrate Guy Fawke's night. If you will be in Cardiff and the surrounding area then there are some rather magnificent events on your doorstep too.

Here we've rounded up what's happening in the Welsh capital across bonfire weekend and all the information you'll need to know. So grab your pals, a cheeky hot dog and get yourself down to one of these bonfire bonanzas. If you have a bonfire event you'd like to add to the list, email eve.rowlands@walesonline.co.uk.
