Bones Found in Submerged Car Belong to Florida Mom and Daughter Who Vanished 50 Years Ago: Police

Skeletal remains found in a Florida canal last August have been confirmed as those of Doris Wurst, 35, and her 3-year-old daughter, Caren Doris Wurst, who vanished nearly 50 years ago.

The pair were last seen on November 7, 1974, at their home in the now-defunct Sunshine City Trailer Park in Plantation.
