
A bone discovered in the search for the remains of murdered Muriel McKay, more than five decades after her killing shocked Britain, did not belong to a human, police have said.
The find was made during an excavation at a property in Bethnal Green, east London, following a scan carried out on March 5 on behalf of her family.
