- Eight Australians are to be honoured with Australian Bravery Decorations for their courageous actions during the fatal stabbing spree at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney in April 2024.
- The attack, carried out by Joel Cauchi, resulted in the deaths of six people and injuries to 10 others before Cauchi was shot dead by Police Inspector Amy Scott.
- Among those recognised are Inspector Scott, French citizens Silas Despreaux and Damien Jean Guerot, who confronted Cauchi, and security officers Muhammad Taha and Faraz Tahir, the latter of whom was fatally stabbed.
- Victim Ashlee Good is honoured for protecting her baby, while Noel McLaughlin is recognised for rushing to his wife's aid and warning others.
- Nurse Catherine Molihan is also honoured for providing first aid to the injured, despite the traumatic experience.
