One for the Gavin & Stacey fans, as Joanna Page and her on-screen husband Mathew Horne are reunited for a foodie podcast. It’s a familiar format: they invite two celebrity friends for lunch (courtesy of Good Food) and a light natter about things such as Jaffa Cakes pudding. Page is on top form with first guests, wine lovers Gary Barlow and Olly Smith: “I know nothing about wine; I’m from Swansea, I was brought up with White Lightning.” Hollie Richardson

Reality stars turned podcast magnates Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo cannily hand over their Nearlyweds format to a new couple, Love Islanders Molly Smith and Tom Clare. If you’re not a fan of them it is liable to grate. But for committed viewers, these meandering chats are surely your type on paper. HJD

In 2023, self-proclaimed “Queen of Canada” Romana Didulo moved into a disused school in a small town in Saskatchewan with her followers, much to the dismay of locals. The latest run of this investigative podcast by Canada’s CBC retells the bizarre tale which – if you’re not already in a cult – is sure to thrill. HJD

Fraudacious
Journalist Vicky Baker has already hosted one podcast on a suspiciously penniless socialite (Fake Heiress, about Anna Delvey); now this Novel/BBC Studios pod sees her explore another, Ekaterina Barrett, who borrowed more than £1m from acquaintance Bridget Hutchcroft and refused to give it back. Deja vu aside, it’s a wild, globetrotting ride. HJD
