Bombmaker behind 2002 Bali bombings released from prison after serving half of 20-year sentence

A bombmaker behind the Bali attacks that killed 202 people including 28 Britons has been released from prison in Indonesia after serving half of his 20-year sentence.

Umar Patek was a leading member of the al Qaida-linked network Jemaah Islamiyah, which is blamed for the 2002 bombings at two nightclubs in Kuta Beach.
