Bombay HC junks Sena (UBT) MLA's plea against state govt bias in slum rehab funds

MUMBAI: The Bombay high court on Friday dismissed a petition by Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Ravindra Waikar who alleged discrimination in the allocation of funds for infrastructure development and basic amenities in slums by the State government.

"We have found that there is no sufficient material for us to test the fairness of the government’s decision to allocate funds," said Justice Sunil Shukre, who along with Justice Rajesh Patel, pronounced the verdict.
