Ricardo Santos has now left hospital and is back home as the Bolton Wanderers skipper feels better but will be sent to a private specialist regarding his breathing and lungs ahead of returning to physical activity at the club.
The Wanderers skipper was admitted to hospital last week ahead of the clash against Bristol Rovers. He missed the encounter after experiencing breathing difficulties and needing to be on an apparatus to help him breath.
The Bolton defender's situation has improved over the last week and he returned home earlier this week. After the shock admission to hospital, Evatt is grateful for the help the NHS gave him and hopes the defender is now on the road to recovery, as he is poised to return to the club's Lostock training base tomorrow.

Evatt said: "Rico left hospital and was back home on Tuesday. He is making some progress. He feels a lot, lot better.
"We are sending him to a private specialist around his breathing and his lungs. I don’t think he still feels 100 per cent back to how he breathing prior to going into hospital.
"We will get more information but the main thing is he is out of hospital, he is on the road to recovery and he will be back in with us to do some sort of physical activity tomorrow.
“I think it was really important that we rallied around him. It is not a nice thing to happen to anybody and especially the captain. It came really quickly, it kind of escalated overnight. The main thing is that he is out of hospital.
"The hospital took really great care of him so we are very grateful to the NHS once again for all of their good work and support. Fingers crosses he is now on the road to recovery.”
Midfielder Kyle Dempsey remains out of action with an ankle ligament tear. He was due to be out of action for up to a month, but Evatt revealed positive news on that front and he could be back in action for the clash at home to Exeter City before Christmas.
He said: “The positive news on that is that Kyle is doing really well and it looks like he’ll be back training next week. He’ll probably not be in time for the Tuesday game but maybe for the Saturday game, which is good news.”
