James Trafford - 6.5
Manchester City loanee was unable to keep out Charlie Wyke's spot kick. Looked solid aside from slight nervous moment in first half where he had to gather cross at second attempt.
Gethin Jones - 7.5
Relationship on the right flank continues to develop with Liverpool loanee Bradley and communicated well throughout.
Ricardo Santos - 7.5
Had physical dual up against Charlie Wyke and looked generally solid up against physical opposition in test needed in pre-season. A solid day at the office for the skipper.
George Johnston - 7
Some good passing on show once again from the former Liverpool defender on the left hand side of the back three. Probably should have scored on the hour mark to get the Whites back in the game.
Conor Bradley - 7
Won the first half penalty which Kachunga subsequently missed. Still learning how to play for Wanderers and the demands of the wing-back position, but
Aaron Morley - 7.5
Good on the ball as per usual from the former Rochdale man who worked well with Morley in the engine room as January signings combined well.
Kyle Dempsey - 8
Energetic performance in the middle of the park as midfielder continues to look sharp in positive pre-season so far from January signing after injury-disrupted second half of last campaign.
Jack Iredale - 6.5
Looked bright down the left flank but gave away the penalty in the first half. Played at left wing-back for the first time in pre-season and, though not as convincing there yet compared to central defence, gave encouragement at times.
Dapo Afolayan - 7
Floated around in the number 10 role and had a few opportunities, particularly in the first half, which required Ben Amos in the Wigan goal to be alert.
Elias Kachunga - 5
Had looked bright but should have done so much better with penalty. Former Huddersfield man has had generally positive pre-season so far but got spot kick all wrong.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 6
No real clear cut chances to speak of for Iceland international but decent build-up play at times.
Substitutes
Joel Dixon - 7.5
Another encouraging performance after coming on at the hour mark, showing good range of distribution with the
Will Aimson - 7
Came on for Jones after the hour and went to right central defender in the trio. Had Thelo Aasgaard for company but coped well with the handful that is the Latics prospect.
Declan John - 6.5
Replaced Iredale and was a more attacking outlet going forward in the final third for Wanderers.
Kieran Sadlier - 6.5
Came on for Bradley and occupied the right wing-back role. Solid in role but did not deliver loads of crosses against discplined Wigan defence.
Kieran Lee - 7
Went in the number 10 role and nearly got Wanderers back on level terms after good passage of play towards conclusion of encounter.
MJ Williams - 7
Midfielder distributed ball well from middle of the park.
Dion Charles - 7
Looked sharp as he has done throughout pre-season and tireless work rate after coming on.
George Thomason - 7
Good passing at times from the midfielder and combined well with Lee for chance towards the end of the game.
Connor Stanley - 6
Played upfront and out of position in place of the injured Amadou Bakayoko. B team signing was out of position but did an alright job.
Adam Senior - 6.5
Went into the centre of defence in the middle of a back three as he has often done so far in pre-season and looked stable once again in position
Max Conway - 6
Replaced George Johnston and went into the back three rather than the left-wing back role. Did okay in role.
