Bolton Wanderers pair walking disciplinary tightrope ahead of Barnsley clash

Bolton Wanderers duo Connor Bradley and MJ Williams are both just one yellow card away from suspension as Ian Evatt's side enter a crucial period in their League One season.

The Trotters have suffered back to back away defeats to check their strong start to the season, albeit Wanderers remain in sixth spot in the early season table. They take on Barnsley this weekend with Michael Duff's side one place above Bolton but level on points.

It's the first of four games in the next fortnight and for Liverpool loanee Bradley and Williams is another game to navigate without getting booked if they want to avoid a ban. The duo have both collected four cautions so far this term and one more will equal a one-match ban.

The cut-off does not arrive until next month's clash with Fleetwood Town and so Bolton could well be without two of their key men in the near future. Bradley joined from Liverpool in the summer and the 19-year-old has impressed so far this term at right wing back making 14 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals. Fellow defender Williams also has 14 games under his belt with the 26-year-old a regular in the starting XI.
