Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Plymouth Argyle confirmed as Jon Dadi Bodvarsson decision made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has opted to make one change from the side which drew against Morecambe in midweek for today's encounter versus Plymouth Argyle.

Wanderers host the Pilgrims this afternoon at the University of Bolton Stadium for a big clash in the race of the play-offs in League One.

Wanderers are 11th in the table heading into this afternoon's clash and seven points from the top six as things stand.

The Pilgrims are just inside the play-off positions at the moment and are seeking to be in them by the end of April.

Wanderers have nine games left of their season and have little, if any, margin for error if they are to make it into the play-offs.

Bolton picked up a late draw on home on Tuesday evening against Morecambe and Evatt has chosen to make one change to the team which began that encounter for this afternoon's fixture.

James Trafford continues as goalkeeper, while Gethin Jones remains absent due to being on compassionate leave after the death of his mother Karen.

It means the back three continues to line up as Will Aimson, captain Ricardo Almeida Santos and George Johnston.

Marlon Fossey and Declan John once again line up as the wing-backs in this system.

In central midfield, MJ Williams continues alongside Aaron Morley once more, with Kyle Dempsey still absent and to return to training next week.

Dapo Afolayan continues in the number 10 role while upfront, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has been rewarded with his late goal against Morecambe with a start and partners Dion Charles this afternoon.

On the bench for Wanderers against the Pilgrims are Joel Dixon, Amadou Bakayoko, Xavier Amaechi, Kieran Sadlier, Elias Kachunga, George Thomason and Alex Baptiste.
