Bolton Wanderers lineup vs MK Dons confirmed as Dapo Afolayan decision made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made three changes from the side which beat Lincoln City in midweek for today's clash against MK Dons.

Wanderers have travelled to Stadium MK to take on Liam Manning's side and aim to end a busy February on a winning note.

Third takes on 10th in the League One standings this afternoon as Evatt's side sit five points from the play-offs heading into the encounter, while the Dons are three points from the automatic promotion places.

Bolton can narrow their deficit to the top six with a win and potentially put themselves that much closer to being in the conversation for the play-offs at the end of the campaign.

And for the big clash against the Dons, Evatt has opted to make three changes from the side which beat the Imps at the University of Bolton Stadium in midweek.

James Trafford continues as goalkeeper, while captain Ricardo Almeida Santos returns to start in the heart of the back three after missing the victory over Lincoln due to the birth of his son.

He will line up alongside Gethin Jones and George Johnston.

The wing-backs of Marlon Fossey and Declan John continue, with the latter recovering from a back spasm which forced him off at half-time against the Imps.

In central midfield, MJ Williams is joined by Aaron Morley, while Kyle Dempsey looks set to start in the number 10 role.

And upfront, Dion Charles is partnered by Amadou Bakayoko this afternoon.

On the bench this afternoon for Wanderers are Joel Dixon, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Will Aimson, Dapo Afolayan, Kieran Sadlier, George Thomason and Liam Gordon.
