Bolton Wanderers lineup & matchday squad confirmed vs Morecambe as five changes made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made five changes from his side to take on Morecambe this evening from the side which drew against Port Vale last weekend.

Wanderers are in the midst of a busy start to the League One season and are currently unbeaten at the beginning of this campaign. They are also into the second round of the Carabao Cup and host Premier League side Aston Villa next Tuesday at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The Whites go into this evening's encounter against the Shrimps on the back of a draw on the road over the weekend against Port Vale. Wanderers held out and kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw, playing approaching an hour with 10 men.

And Evatt has shuffled his squad around from the side which picked up a point in hot conditions at Vale Park. He has made five changes from the team which began that encounter.

Gethin Jones and George Johnston are either side of Will Aimson in the back three, who comes into the side for suspended skipper Ricardo Santos. James Trafford continues as goalkeeper.

In the wing-back area, Declan John replaces Jack Iredale on the left flank, with the choice at the right going with Conor Bradley. The central midfield area lines up as Kyle Dempsey and Aaron Morley.

In the number 10 role, Kieran Lee comes into the team having been an unused substitute over the weekend. Upfront, Elias Kachunga is partnered by Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

On the bench this evening for Wanderers are Joel Dixon, MJ Williams, Kieran Sadlier, Amadou Bakayoko, Jack Iredale, Dapo Afolayan and Nelson Khumbeni.
