Bolton Wanderers are leading the race to sign young defender Owen Beck from Liverpool and the deal could be finalised today, according to reports.
Wanderers have made four acquisitions so far this summer. Eoin Toal and Jack Iredale have joined on permanent deals from Derry City and Cambridge United.
Two players have also been brought in on loan for the campaign. Defender Conor Bradley has joined from Liverpool, while goalkeeper James Trafford has been signed up again from Manchester City.

Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has suggested that the Whites could do more business before the window shuts should the right opportunities present themselves.
The transfer window closes at 11pm on Thursday, September 1. After being linked with a loan swoop for QPR's Macauley Bonne, another fresh transfer link has emerged ahead of it in the form of Beck.
An issue with any deal was that Beck is already currently out on loan at Famalicao in Portugal. But that is poised to be removed with the 20-year-old poised to be recalled, according to reports.
Liverpool Echo reporter Keifer MacDonald reports that Beck will return to England this week and that Wanderers are 'leading the race' for the young player's services. Though there is interest from elsewhere in England, it is reported the deal 'should be finalised' today.
Last night, MacDonald tweeted: "Owen Beck will return to England this week after a brief spell at Famalicao. Understand #BWFC are currently leading the race for the #LFC youngster, with their style of play a massive attraction. Despite interest from elsewhere in England, the deal should be finalised tomorrow."
